The Globe () Empty The Globe ()

I thought we was missing some of the old discussions...
This is a topic about Globe pretty much getting fucked up.. And I'm not even saying fucked up by climate factors or any other natural factors, but the ones caused by us - people

We can deny it, and run from it, but it's clear - World War 3 is closer than ever. Even worse, it's already knocking on the door.
It all started years and years ago.. In Iraq.. Who else but the United States decided to put their fingers into a ass that doesn't belong to them.
- Epilogue: War that ended up with hanging their dictator Sadam Hussein. The thought were separated.. Some people where applauding, some mourning their beloved king.

That's pretty much nothing. A scene we see everyday on the news huh?

But then shit started getting worse.

Libya - same faith as Iraq
Syria
Egypt
Trouble with Iran
South Korea vs. North Korea. And of course Russia taking one, and USA the other side, heating up everything.
Almost THEN caused a war...

Then some usual shit, that everybody got used to, started to escalate, being tagged as MAJOR compared to these above: Palestine vs Israel
It seriously heated up relationships between well known enemies: USA & Russia

Some countries obviously couldn't watch this calmly, so decided to take shit in their own hands.. Like France attacking Iraq

Before that tensions in Ukraine..

Russia against EU ofc. threatening to freeze them to death

After everything, islamists simply said: Fuck this. We're tired of getting kicked around.
So obviously they're trying to unite.. And I wouldn't be surprised, not even a little bit.. If they just erased the borders and united.
Now ISIS is advancing from Syria to Turkey.. They are like 1,5km away from the city of Kobane. The name every new station in every country in the world has mentioned..

The situation is fucked up. ISIS is over powered, but the local defense forces are managing to keep them away for now...
If ISIS reaches that city... It's just another genocide.
And most likely the beginning of the long awaited sequel Wink

TIMELINE:
On 17 September, following the capture of a strategic bridge over the Euphrates, ISIS launched a large offensive using tanks, rockets and artillery in the direction of Kobanē and within 24 hours captured 21 Kurdish villages. The advance left Kobanē encircled by ISIS forces

On 22 September, A Kurdish spokesman reported that the IS advance east of Kobanē had been halted during the previous night.

On 24 September, ISIS forces made more advances south of the city despite air strikes against its supply lines by warplanes which reportedly came from the Turkish side of the border

On 26 September, ISIS troops captured a hill, from where YPG fighters had been attacking them in recent days, 10 km (6 miles) west of Kobanē. They also captured a village around 7 km to the east of Kobane

The Globe () 23px-Flag_of_Turkey.svg Turkey - Turkish government opened their borders to some 200,000 Kurdish refugees from Kobanē area, arriving within several days from the onslaught of the Islamic State militias.

The Globe () 23px-Flag_of_Kurdistan.svg Iraqi Kurdistan - Kurdish Iraqi officials said they are waiting for PYD approval to send reinforcements to Kobane.

---------------

I can only hope this will be a happy end like Palestine, etc.
If this turn out big. May God help us.

i'm mostly concerned [well, only thinking about it frequently] about the ukraine vs russia thing at the moment. when Putin said that he can take the baltics in under 2 days, he wasn't bullshitting. i can bet there are more russian troops and millitary equipment stationed in Калининградская область than there are total in lithuania. god forbid for anything to happen though, but the events of january 1991 might reappear once again, either even worse, or quite the other way around - swift and safe. everyone here simply hates russians, everyone is simply anti-rus but it goes the other way around too - russians are glorifying their ' Родина-мать' and hating us et cetera, but some of them are actually discriminating russian political actions. if you think i'm wrong - come around here and you'll discover so much hate you'll leave surprised.

the middle east problems I don't really care about, they don't affect us in any way and as far as i'm concerned, those trigger happy fools can just keep on killing each other for religion or whatever keeps them going, all in all I dislike muslims like that, that's what makes everyone think so stereotypically that muslim = terrorist/killer/isis supporter and so on. or am I wrong?
didn't some guys in london slash a soldiers head off in the middle of the street some time ago and started speaking about islam or whatever? I can't quite recall the situation but I recently saw it.

i take no responsibility if you take offence at what I said because: 1) it wasn't meant to offend 2) i can discuss freely here, after all, creating this topic means sparking a fuckton of discussions that can involve hostility between x number of parties.

Well the mid-east problem SHOULD concern you. Because if World War 3 breaks out, it can only be caused by the stress going on in the ME

I can only wonder where is Allah now, if innocent people get killed in his name.

Ofcourse I'm not supporting those action going on down there, but you gotta be honest and say, that all those actions down there aren't just fueled by religious hatred.
It's more rage triggered by US' and Russia's actions.

I suppose it could be one of the main factors, I agree. But still, haven't really been interested in that, only watching videos of executions and attacks and what not. To whoever only watches shit on TV, I suggest you google up some real violence caused by them. Of course, viewer discretion is advised.

Guess that's allah's kind of way to enjoy the day. Who knows.

I suppose US is the main foe now, with Russia [actually, USSR] being involved with shit in afghanistan back in the 70's and still leaving a splinter in some spot, but I'm not saying they're not taking part in what's currently going down.
But you must agree that one of the biggest problems is religion itself in that region. It's like an epidemic. Just look at what believing in something that doesn't exist has done over hundreds of years, if not thousands.

How do you exactly mean "believing in something that doesn't exist"?

I just don't think there's some god or anything, in which people believe. As I mentioned, religion causes pointless hostility. I rather not discuss about it too much.

Well it's none of my business, but i think you should be fair and say like "believing in something, which i believe, doesn't exist". Just saying since I'm the one who does believe in God here.

But yeah, just saying, I agree we shouldn't discuss about it here, since it really is some tough shit to discuss
